Voyager Industries, Inc. Earns ISO 9001:2008 Certification
November 13, 2014
Brandon, MN--On October 24th, 2014 Voyager Industries, a leader in aluminum distribution and fabrication, completed their final audits and received their ISO 9001:2008 certification.
According to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) for a company to become ISO 9001:2008 certified, it needs to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products that meet customer specifications and comply with regulatory requirements. In addition, the company must aim to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of its systems, including the dedication to continuous improvement of their organization and its processes. All of these factors are tested through a detailed audit.
The company’s quality management system was assessed by The British Standards Institution (BSI- America), a full-service certification body accredited by ANAB. Accepted worldwide as the standard that defines quality, ISO 9001:2008 provides the necessary framework to improve company efficiency, minimize risk and maximize opportunity.
“Achieving this certification is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team,” said Monty Normand, Quality Manager for Voyager Industries. “ISO certification demonstrates to our customers, competitors, suppliers, and staff that we are committed to being the best we can be.”
